Springtime magic has arrived at Magic Kingdom, and so have two of the season’s most charming visitors: Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny! With Easter around the corner, the bunny couple has once again made their grand entrance into Walt Disney World — but only for a short time.
This seasonal appearance has become somewhat of a tradition, but it’s still considered one of the rarest meet-and-greets you can experience in the parks. These bunnies don’t pop up for photos during Halloween or Christmas — they strictly stick to the Easter window, which makes this encounter extra special for parkgoers and character collectors alike.
This year, Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny can be found greeting guests in Bunny Lane Garden, also known as the Enchanted Glade Gazebo in Liberty Square. If you’re not familiar with the area, it’s tucked behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe — a cozy and festive spot transformed with pastel flowers and seasonal cheer.
The bunny duo is dressed to impress in their iconic costumes. Mr. Easter Bunny is decked out in a light green jacket, purple pants, and a matching purple top hat, while Mrs. Easter Bunny dazzles in a dress made of layered spring-colored fabrics adorned with flowers. The looks are practically Easter incarnate, adding a whimsical energy to this quaint Liberty Square corner.
And there’s a little gift involved too — guests who stop by for the meet-and-greet receive a complimentary Easter-themed autograph card. One side features festive artwork and a “Happy Easter!” greeting, while the reverse has both bunnies’ signatures — Mr. Bunny in blue, and Mrs. Bunny in purple. It’s a keepsake that fans treasure and a nice bonus for anyone looking to take a piece of the experience home with them.
The characters are meeting intermittently each day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with times varying slightly depending on crowd levels and park operations. Your best bet is to check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date schedule. Their last day in the park is Easter Sunday, April 20, so time is definitely of the essence.
If you’re planning to make a whole day of Easter fun at Disney, you’re in luck. Other festive experiences are scattered across the property, including the return of the elaborate chocolate Easter egg displays at select deluxe resorts. Whether you head to the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary, you’ll find jaw-dropping chocolate creations themed to Disney characters and more.
Meanwhile, EPCOT brings back its fan-favorite Eggstravaganza scavenger hunt, where guests can search for oversized decorative eggs hidden throughout World Showcase. It’s a fun, interactive way to explore the park — and you get a prize once you turn in your completed map.
Of course, there’s also seasonal merchandise to be found throughout the resort, from pastel-colored Mickey ears to limited-edition pins and themed treats. Walt Disney World really goes all-in for Easter, but again — there’s something extra magical about the rare meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny couple.
Most character experiences at Disney run all year long. You can meet Mickey, Elsa, or Goofy pretty much anytime. But this particular experience? It’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it rare. And with the elaborate set-up, themed freebies, and festive flair, it’s one of those seasonal perks you don’t want to pass up.
So if you’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom this week, make the time to hop over to Liberty Square and meet this delightful duo before they disappear for another year. The photos are cute, the memories are magical — and this one won’t last forever.
