After months of speculation, Walt Disney Studios officially premiered the trailer for Lilo & Stitch (2025) on March 12. Slated to hit theaters on May 23, 2025, the film brings the beloved 2002 animated classic to life with a blend of CGI and live-action.

In a nostalgic nod to the original film’s marketing campaign, early teasers featured Stitch playfully crashing into other Walt Disney Animation Studios classics before making an appearance at the Super Bowl. The full trailer offers a deeper look at the film’s heartwarming story and the mischievous antics that made Stitch a fan favorite.

Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the film stars newcomer Maia Kealoha as Lilo and brings back Chris Sanders as the voice of Stitch. The supporting cast includes Sydney Agudong (Nani Pelekai), Zach Galifianakis (Dr. Jumba Jookiba), Billy Magnussen (Agent Pleakley), Kaipo Dudoit (David Kawena), Courtney B. Vance (Cobra Bubbles), Hannah Waddingham (the Grand Councilwoman), and Amy Hill (Tūtū).

Adding to the nostalgia, two original cast members from Lilo & Stitch (2002) are making special appearances: Tia Carrere, the original voice of Nani, will play Mrs. Kekoa, and Jason Scott Lee, who originally voiced David, takes on the role of a lūʻau manager.
