I think it’s sad that so many artists and productions such as Hamilton feel they need to cancel due to the change in leadership of the Kennedy Center. I understand it but that doesn’t make it less sad. The Kennedy Center has always been non-partisan and #47 is making it anything but. If I lived in the DC area I would also not attend anything there. Not until it’s back to the way it should be.

You nailed it. Trump and his cronies have made very clear that they do NOT want “certain shows” at the Kennedy Center. That’s one reason he took it over. As a long time Kennedy Center member/patron, I’m glad Lin-Manual stood up to the bully. I will no longer be attending shows there until the self-proclaimed king has been dethroned and a non-partisan board returns.
