Today, just as dawn breaks at Shanghai Disneyland Resort, the park gates will open for more than 200 cast members to join Mickey Mouse and Disney Ambassadors, Fiona and Eleven, for sunrise yoga in front of the Enchanted Storybook Castle.
Over at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, yoga enthusiast and entertainment and costuming cast member Mandy led a virtual yoga class for cast members. Meanwhile, Disney Ambassador Melody encouraged cast from all over the resort to take part in the wellness celebration from the comfort of their homes!
While our Disney family at the other parks are busy preparing for reopening, we didn’t want our cast to miss out on the celebrations! That’s why we created ways to help them recreate our annual events from home. Disneyland Paris cast celebrated with a virtual yoga instruction facilitated by renowned yoga instructor Tara Stiles. This week at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, cast have access to yoga activities with different digital classes taking place each day. From introductory yoga for beginners to classes focusing on defined techniques like Restorative and Hatha yoga – there’s something for every cast member!
