Theme park fans, get ready to pack your bags because Disney’s newest castle park is almost ready to open! Disneyland Paris Resort is preparing for the grand unveiling of its World of Frozen in spring 2026.
Stepping Into Arendelle
The World of Frozen will offer Disney Parks fans the chance to experience the Frozen (2013) universe like never before. Guests will embark on the Frozen Ever After boat ride, which will transport them through scenes from the animated movie, and speed down the Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs roller coaster.
Disneyland Paris Undergoes a Major Transformation
But that’s not all — World of Frozen is just one part of the massive transformation underway at Disneyland Paris Resort. The entire Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a rebranding to become Disney Adventure World, an immersive new concept that brings Disney’s most popular franchises to life. This overhaul aligns with a growing trend across parks like Disney’s Hollywood Studios to create fully immersive, themed lands, rather than focusing on the traditional “backstage” theme park experience.
As Disney Adventure World takes shape, it will also feature additional areas based on other iconic Disney franchises, including The Lion King (1994). Although a grand-opening date for The Lion King land has not been confirmed, a log flume ride is reportedly in the works.
Testing the Magic
As the opening day draws closer, Disney cast members are busy testing elements of the World of Frozen to ensure everything is perfect for its debut. On November 5, @DLPReport shared a glimpse of the North Mountain and Elsa’s ice castle lighting tests:

The World of Frozen will open in spring 2026, alongside the revamped Disney Adventure World. Guests who visit Disneyland Paris Resort can look forward to new and exciting attractions that will immerse them in the magic of Disney’s most beloved characters and stories.
