Woody Has Officially Been Added to Toy Story Land in Walt Disney World

Toy Story Land is definitely coming along nicely in preparation for the big opening at Walt Disney World.  This new land featuring our favorite Toy Story characters is set to open on June 30th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney Parks Blog announced that the Imagineers for the land celebrated their latest milestone, which is the addition of Woody to the land.  He stands around 20 feet tall, with his hat measuring 7 feet from brim to brim!  He is part of the Toy Story Land sign very close to Slinky Dog Dash.  The sign itself consists of letter blocks and a 4 foot tall yo-yo.

The story for the new land is that guests who visit will “shrink” to the size of a toy to join in on the fun happening in Andy’s backyard.  There will be two new attractions, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers, added to the land in addition to the existing attraction, Toy Story Mania!  The characters will be making appearances in the land and Woody’s Lunchbox will be open to serve guests who are looking for something tasty to eat.

We are so excited to see Woody finally make an appearance within Toy Story Land.  This makes us even more excited for the land to finally open!
