Disney Dining Serving up the latest Disney Eats, Treats, News, and More!
For those of you out there who watch Wheel of Fortune you are in for exciting news. The popular, televised game show, Wheel of Fortune, is where hosts, Pat Sajak and Vanna White, award contestants with money and prizes based on how well they can complete words and phrases based on guessing what letters they think are in the word. We are so excited to learn that Wheel of Fortune is about to return to Walt Disney World for filming. The show typically comes to Walt Disney World every year and does a themed Walt Disney World week where the words, phrases and even many of the prizes are all related to Disney and Walt Disney World.
We have confirmed that the show will be filming at Epcot in World Disney World from October 10th – 20th. The Wheel of Fortune crew will use the same stage that The Chew used for their filming that is going on this week at Epcot. The stage is located in World Showcase Plaza, the area between World Showcase and Future World. Guests are typically able to attend the taping, but tickets are already completely gone for the taping attendance.
The theme for this year’s Walt Disney World Wheel of Fortune event is “35th Anniversary at Walt Disney World”. The show is expected to air the following weeks:
- November 13th, 2017
- February 12th, 2018
- April 30th, 2018
