Several rides at Disneyland Paris are scheduled for closure in January 2026, prompting visitors to plan ahead. Among the rides affected, Passage Enchanté will be closed from January 5 to January 16, while Main Street Station will see its closure from January 7 to January 9. Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is set to be unavailable from January 19 to 23.

It’s a Small World will be out of operation starting January 26, and notably, Ratatouille: The Adventure will remain closed for the entirety of January.

New Attractions and Renovations

Exciting transformations are in the works at Disneyland Paris as it gears up for a season of renovations and new attractions. A complete makeover is underway at the Walt Disney Studios Park, which will soon be renamed to Disney Adventure World. This change signifies a broader vision for the park, allowing the introduction of more diverse attractions and experiences.

Among the anticipated renovations, the most noteworthy is the debut of a new ride based on The Lion King, which will be the first major attraction inspired by this iconic film. The refurbishment efforts will not only enhance the guest experience but will also integrate innovative features to the landscape of attractions at Disneyland Paris.

The forthcoming Lion King attraction is a highlight among the scheduled changes, marking an important milestone as it will be the first log flume experience at Disneyland Paris. This adventurous ride promises to immerse visitors in the beloved story and characters of The Lion King, providing a fresh addition to the park’s repertoire of attractions.

The new log flume ride is designed to capture the essence of the film, incorporating heard-and-seen themes from the narratives of Simba, Nala, and their friends. While an official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, anticipation continues to build as updates about the project are shared. In addition to ride developments, Disneyland Paris is enhancing its dining and shopping options. A new McDonald’s location is expected to open in early 2026, providing guests with a familiar and beloved fast-food option amidst the magical atmosphere of the park. The introduction of this location will offer visitors convenient dining solutions while enjoying their day.

Furthermore, the launch of the Disney Wonders shop will replace the existing Disney Store, allowing for an expanded range of merchandise that captures the essence of Disney magic. With this new shop, guests can look forward to a refreshed retail experience that aligns with the park’s ongoing theme of growth and innovation.
