Walt Disney World’s Mission: SPACE! Will Feature New Narrator

We definitely have big news for fans of the Mission: SPACE! attraction in Epcot’s Future World at Walt Disney World.  The attraction has been undergoing an extensive refurbishment for the last few months in order to enhance guest experience.  Disney has been working to introduce new missions and options in order to make the experience a more family-friendly attraction so more guests can enjoy it.  We just learned from various sources that the narration for the attraction as you are prepping to board will no longer be hosted by Gary Sinise.  The new host for the attraction will be Gina Torres.

Gina Torres is a popular actress, famous for many different action roles.  She has been in TV shows like Firefly, Westworld, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, Suits, The Catch, Hannibal, and more.  She has also been in movies such as Serenity and the various Matrix movies.  Although it will be sad to no longer have Gary Sinise as the narrator, it will be very exciting to hear the direction that they take with the narration and what changes they make as the attraction opens.

The attraction is scheduled to re-open to guests on Sunday, August 13th.  Who can’t wait to go and check out all of the changes after the big refurbishment?
