For all of you Disney foodies that are missing Walt Disney World, we have a special look from Disney Parks Blog at some of the amazing food options that made the list of July’s Best Bites. To start off with, Disney celebrated National Hot Dog Day at Magic Kingdom Park. On July 18th, guests were able to enjoy a two foot long hot dog at Casey’s Corner and add two of your favorite toppings to it. Every other day at Casey’s Corner, you can enjoy any of their amazing hot dogs, like the Casey’s Classic All-Beef Hot Diggity Dog that is topped with hash browns, bacon, crispy onions and cheddar cheese.
Also at Magic Kingdom, you can head over to Pinocchio Village Haus for this month’s Flatbread of the Month. It is a cheeseburger flatbread that includes ketchup, mustard, ground beef, bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickles.
If you want more new food options, then head over to Restaurant Marrakesh at Epcot. The location has added new menu items like Pan-Seared Lamb Loin Medallions and Hummus Rosemary Pancakes. This dish comes with zucchini, olives, and toasted garlic au jus.
Restaurant Marrakesh offers new appetizers like Mussels Casablanca (steamed mussels served with capers, tomatoes, and saffron cream sauce) and the Goat Cheese with Crispy Bread. Be sure to save room for dessert so you can have the Warm Beignets & Sweet Cream.
If you want a little bit of everything, you can try the Taste of Morocco. This meal is a three courses and starts with a Moroccan salad for the first course. The main course is Couscous Royal served in a Traditional Tagine, which is a beef tenderloin shish kebbab, chicken brochettes, merguez sausage, and braised lamb served with couscous. The dessert course is Baklavas. The meal is $59.99 per person or 1 table-service entitlement plus $9.99 when you are on the Disney Dining Plan or one Deluxe Dining Plan entitlement.
Next up, over at Disney Springs, Wine Bar George is a great place to check out for lunch. There are options like the Chicken Salad Sandwich with roasted tomatoes and brioche and paired with Giocato, Pino Grigio. There is also a BLT + C with bacon, lettuce, tomato, brioche, and a four-cheese sauce paired with Bodegas Borsao, Garnacha, which sounds just as delicious.
The Steak Frites look amazing and are topped with with skirt steak and caramelized onion aïoli.
You won’t want to miss the Sunday Supper at Enzo’s Hideaway. It includes a variety of cured meats, cheeses, pasta and variety of entrees and sweets. This amazing feast costs $45 per adult and $19 per child (ages 9 and under). Prices do not include the applicable taxes and gratuities. If you attend the event, you are even able to bring your own bottle of wine with no corkage fee!
