As you can imagine, there are a ton of strollers around Walt Disney World to help all of the kiddos get from place to place around the theme parks. Strollers around allowed to go inside of most shows and attractions, so guests typically have to park them in available stroller parking locations. Walt Disney World is piloting a new stroller parking system at Walt Disney World. The testing for this system will begin on June 1st, 2018 with the objective to improve guest experiences while in the parks.
Here are the details we have collected on how it will work:
- When guests arrive at the specified shows and rides, they will receive a special colored tag that will match the color of one of the three stroller parking areas that have been designated. The same colored tag can be reused across the different shows and rides, or guests will also have the opportunity to pick up a new tag at each of the locations.
- There will be a select grouping of attractions that will be participating in this new stroller system. They are:
- Festival of the Lion King
- Finding Nemo – The Musical
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug
- Kali River Rapids
- Kilimanjaro Safaris
- Rivers of Light
- Wildlife Express Train
What do you all think of this new stroller system? Do you think it will help with finding and coordinating strollers while in the theme parks?
