Walt Disney World Will Welcome Jim Shore to Disney Springs

For those of you that are into Disney collectibles and figures, you are going to be very excited about this latest news at Disney Springs.  We have learned that the creator and artist, Jim Shore, who is responsible for many of the beautiful figures and scenes available for purchase in Walt Disney World (and other Disney parks around the world) will be onsite at Disney Springs on November 26th, 2017.  It looks like he will be set up for meet and greets at The Art of Disney in the Marketplace area of Disney Springs from 10 AM to 12 PM.  He will be doing signings as well as showing off some of his new pieces.

Here is the official announcement from @DisneySprings on Twitter:

“Join us as we welcome back renowned American folk artist, Jim Shore at The Art of Disney on 11/26! Jim will be on hand for special appearances and signings featuring new pieces from the Disney Traditions collection from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.”

If you haven’t seen these figures, they are absolutely amazing.  We have several of them in our house and we love having them on display.

What Jim Shore figures do you collect? Which one do you wish that you could add to your collection?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
