Walt Disney World to Host Annual Pin Trading Event at Epcot

Pin trading is a popular collector’s activity for many guests at Walt Disney World.  Pin trading has become a frenzy for so many guests.  Pins are available for purchase at the parks.  They are also available for trade with cast members all around Walt Disney World.  If you trade with cast members you may be able to get your hands on cast exclusive pins or limited edition pins that aren’t available for purchase.  Guests who love pin trading will be excited to know that Walt Disney World will host an annual pin trading event at Epcot.  The event will be held at World Showplace and take place on August 25 – 26.  It will run from 9:30AM to 6PM each day of the event.  This year’s event is known as “Love is an Adventure”, and tickets will be sold for $150 for each guest.

The admission ticket price will include 4 vouchers to the trading board games, admission to a training challenge, meet and greets with Disney pin merchandisers, meet and greets with pin artists, attendance to the pin artist panel discussion, character meet and greets, photo ops, a welcome pin specific for the event, a goodie bag with extras, 6-pin gift set, Goodbye pin set, opportunities to pre-purchase some of the event-exclusive pins and a $30 gift card that can be used at the event.  This is a dream event for the serious pin traders out there and admission already gets them tons of amazing pins.  The event admission does not include admission to Epcot, which will be required.  Guests will have to purchase that admission separately and it will be required in order to attend the event.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.disneyurl.com/LIAARegistration.  Be prepared to pay for the cost of admission and registration to the event in advance.  This is expected to be a popular event and admission will be limited to a select number of guests.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
