Walt Disney World Speedway Gas Station Closing for Refurbishment

If you will have a car while you are at Walt Disney World, then you may want to be aware of the expected Speedway gas station closure.  The location that is close to Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Resort is the one that will close temporarily for the refurbishment.  The closure is expected to begin at 1 PM on Sunday, November 5th and will remain closed for around 2 weeks total.  We don’t have details about what work is planned during the closure, but hopefully it will re-open on schedule.

During the time that the Boardwalk location is closed, there are other locations that will remain open.  The Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom locations will operate normally with no impacts.

For guests that have vehicles on property, it is important for them to be able to find a gas station.  Many guests enjoy the convenience of a gas station on property at Walt Disney World so that they can gas up (and even get a few snacks or other essentials, too) and not have to leave Walt Disney World property.  At least the two other locations help to keep this service available to guests!
