Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a perfectly themed Christmas party event that takes place at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on select nights. Guests must buy a separate party ticket in order to attend the event. The first party of the 2017 holiday season is scheduled for November 9th. We have now heard that this opening party has officially sold out with no more party tickets available. The parties at the Magic Kingdom are extremely popular, so the sellout isn’t a major surprise.
The party starts at 7 PM and runs through 12 AM, with party guests able to enter the park a couple hours ahead of the party start time. At 7 PM, guests without party wrist bands will be directed out of the park and unable to enter any of the attractions. Many of the rides and usual attractions will be open during the party, plus additional themed experiences. These experiences include things like stage shows, dance parties, character meet and greets, etc. There will also be cookies and cocoa locations spread around the theme park where guests can enjoy the unlimited treats for no extra charge.
