Walt Disney World Resort is the Official Host of 2022 Special Olympics USA Games

We are so excited to learn the that 2022 Special Olympics USA Games will be hosted at Walt Disney World! The events will take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. These games will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics Florida. Disney is proud to be the Presenting Partner for the 2022 USA Games Volunteer Program since there will be so many dedicated volunteers in order to make the event possible!

Disney has had a long standing relationship with Special Olympics from volunteers to sponsorship and more.

2022 is the first time where athletes were invited to create the logo for the USA Games. Nine athletes contributed to the design, with four of them being from the state of Florida. The new logo was unveiled at a special ceremony that was held on Thursday, August 8th, 2019.

Of course we will keep you posted as we learn more. We can’t wait to see what all is in store for the event!
