Walt Disney World Resort Guests Can Enjoy Additional Spring and Summer Extra Magic Hours for a Limited Time

Disney Parks Blog made an exciting announcement for guests that are planning to visit Walt Disney World this spring or summer season.  It looks like that for a limited time guests will have additional opportunities to enjoy Extra Magic Hours.  Extra Magic Hours is one of the many perks to being a Walt Disney World Resort guest.  Resort guests are able to have exclusive access to at least one of the 4 major theme parks either early in the morning or in the evening after park closing.  This gives guests additional time in the parks with fewer crowds to enjoy attractions, shop, take pictures, etc.

Flight of Passage

This special additional Extra Magic Hours access will be available on select mornings from April 29th through June 30th.  The Extra Magic Hours access will be available for popular experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, like Expedition Everest, Dinosaur and attractions located in Pandora – The World of Avatar.

Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Guests who will be staying at Walt Disney World in July and August will be able to enjoy daily Extra Magic Hours.  These daily Extra Magic Hours will be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios so that guests can enjoy the new attractions within Toy Story Land when it officially opens on June 30th.  Other attractions within Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also be open during these special daily Extra Magic Hours.

This spring and summer is definitely shaping up to be a great time to visit Walt Disney World.  Who already has trip booked?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
