Walt Disney World Releases Concept Art for H2O Glow Nights

We previously announced that a new evening event would be coming to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park at Walt Disney World.  This event is called Disney H2O Glow Nights and will be a fun party where guests can experience Typhoon Lagoon differently than they ever have before.  There will be fun things like glowing beach balls, lighting effects within the park, glow tubes and more.  The event is slated to start on select nights beginning on June 21st.  In addition to the glow fun, there will be a DJ Dance Party on the beach, plus character meet and greets with Toy Story characters.  Today, Disney Parks Blog released some of the concept art for the event. One example is pictured below and the other is the main picture for the article.

To add to the fun at the event, there will be special event party games, unique food and beverage options and shorter than usual wait times for some of the most popular attractions within the park.  Not only that, you won’t have to stand in the hot sun while you wait for your turn to ride. There will also be an adults-only oasis, called The Wharf.  This is a place only available during the event and will be a great place for adults to enjoy.

The event will require a special Disney H2O Glow Night ticket in order to attend.  The tickets cost $55 for adults and $50 for children (ages 3 to 9), plus taxes. They can be purchases by visiting http://disneyworld.com/h2oglownights, or calling (407) 939-1872.

Who would love to attend this fun evening party this summer?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
