We have learned that Walt Disney World has temporarily stopped holding the Princess Promenade at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa until after the new year. With the addition of the gingerbread house and other holiday activities going on in the lobby, it was too crowded to coordinate this event. The Princess Promenade is scheduled to return to the resort starting on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018. All guests are able to attend, not just guests that are staying at the resort.

The Princess Promenade is a free experience at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa where young guests are able to meet and greet with Cinderella and her prince. The event typically takes place each afternoon at 3:30 PM at the resort where Cinderella and her prince lead a line of kiddos down the staircase to the main floor of the lobby. Then they dance in the lobby with all of the guests. Before they head downstairs, they also pose for photos with the kids.
This event is definitely a fun event and it is very nice that it is free. There are only a few free character events outside of the theme parks, so we hope that Disney will add more of these resort events for guests.
Have any of you participated in or seen the Princess Promenade? It is definitely fun for everyone!
