Disney Parks Blog announced today that there will be some changes coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. Â There will be a new Grand Avenue area debuting in the fall that will be designed to look like the present-day Downtown Los Angeles area including the look of vintage office buildings and warehouses that represent areas round the popular, iconic city. Â The entire area is being designed by Walt Disney Imagineering to create the perfect theming. Â The BaseLine Tap House will be part of this addition as the new corner pub that will serve beers and wines directly from California to fit in perfectly with the theme.
The building for the new BaseLine Tap House will be an old school brick looking building. Â The backstory will pay homage to the Figueroa Printing Company, a printing house that also had ties to the Disney Studios in Burbank, California. Â The building will utilize unique architectural designs, various mechanical components, artifacts and more to create a fun, interesting vibe for guests coming in for a drink and to relax. Â It will be a very fun, inviting place for guests to enjoy a little break from all the hustle and bustle of the park. Â There will also be an outdoor seating area for guests, too!
What do you all think of this new location coming in the fall? Â We will update as soon as we have specifics on dates and other details!
