We learned last year that Walt Disney World intended to open a space-themed restaurant at Epcot that would create a unique space dining experience for guests. Disney Parks Blog confirmed today that the new restaurant would be built between Mission: SPACE and Test Track in the Future World area of Epcot. Once the location is complete, the new restaurant will provide guests with an experience where they travel to space and dine in the stars.
This new restaurant location will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group and Nick Valenti. Patina Restaurant Group runs other restaurants around Walt Disney World, including Tutto Italia and Via Napoli at Epcot as well as Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante and Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs. If this new restaurant is anything like their other locations, it is sure to be a hit!
We don’t have any other details yet about the restaurant. We are anxiously awaiting a timeline for when we can expect the restaurant to be built and ready to open, as well as a name and other details about the experience. For now, we just have to be happy with the concept art and stay on the lookout for more updates. Of course we will keep you all posted as soon as we hear more.
