Walt Disney World Offers Extended Weekend and Holiday Hours for the Christmas Tree Trail

The Christmas fun has made its way to Disney Springs, which means the opening of the Christmas Tree Trail.  This is the second year that this amazing holiday trail is offered, and it is even bigger than last year.  The Christmas Tree Trail offers 25 different Disney trees featuring characters from the various Disney films.  Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Snow White, Dumbo, Fantasia and Lady and the Tramp are among the new additions to the trail.  You will also find a tree that features all ornaments that are available for purchase at the Disney’s Days of Christmas Store, also located in Disney Springs, as well as displays on each of the themed trees that are also available for purchase.

Since the event is extremely popular and an absolute delight for the holiday season, Disney has decided to offer extended hours to ensure that guests get more time to see the amazing Christmas Tree Trail.  The trail will be open through January 7th, 2018 and here are the updated operating hours:

Monday – Thursday:   12 PM to 10 PM
Friday – Saturday:  10 AM to 11 PM
Sunday:  10 AM to 10 PM
Christmas Eve (12/24):  10 AM to 11 PM
Christmas Day (12/25):  10 AM to 11 PM

You can share your photos and selfies from the Christmas Tree Trail on Twitter and Instagram using #DisneySprings for an opportunity to be featured on various Disney social media accounts.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
