Disney Dining Serving up the latest Disney Eats, Treats, News, and More!
It is definitely a great time to be a Disney Vacation Club Member! There are tons of great perks and discounts and it looks like Disney Vacation Club Members will also have the opportunity to enjoy a special one-night only event, Star Wars: Galactic Gathering. The event will turn the World ShowPlace pavilion at Epcot into a special Star Wars Experience on April 10th, 2019 from 6 PM through 8:30 PM. During this special themed event, DVC Members will get to enjoy Star Wars themed food and beverage items, meet Star Wars characters, pose for fun photos and more.
The culinary team for the event developed a menu that includes and amazing line-up of items. It will include some of the following options: hors d’oeuvres, specialty beverages and all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet featuring a salad cone station (try the Endor Cous Cous!), a small-bites station (including a Tatooine Cheeseburger Spring Roll), a bowl action station (with Alderaan Bean Wat with Basmati Scented Rice and Cilantro among the options) and a carving station. Sweet options will include options like a Blue Milk Panna Cotta to Darth Vader Cupcakes to BB-8 Mousse Domes. There will also be DJ who will play fun music to keep the event lively and have your dancing to the tunes.
The cost for the event is $225 per adult and $210 per child, including applicable taxes and gratuities. Valid theme park admissions to Epcot is also required. Eligible DVC Members are able to book the event for themselves and up to 5 guests.
