Walt Disney World Offering Paint-Your-Own Mask Activity in Epcot

We are excited to learn about fun, new activities offered around Walt Disney World.  One of the more recent finds takes us over to Walt Disney’s World Epcot in the World Showcase area.  If you head over to the Italy pavilion, then you can check out an activity where you can paint your own mask to take home.  There are a variety of beautiful Venetian masks that are along the walls in one of the shops at the pavilion which guests have been able to purchase.  Now, guests have the opportunity to create their own masterpiece while they are there.  The experience is available for kids and adults.  The price for the event varies based on the mask that is selected.  The mask prices start at around $30 per mask and can go up to around $50 per mask.

Guests can then paint their mask with their own design, color selection, etc.  The sky is the limit!  Once guests are done, the masks take around 15 minutes or so to dry.  Guests can choose if they want to wait for their mask to be completely dry and ready to go take with them or come back and pick up the mask later.  Guests also have the option to send the completed mask to the front of the park for pickup or have it sent back to their resort if staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

What do you all think of this mask painting opportunity?  Would you love to have your own custom painted mask?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
