Walt Disney World Offering Limited Release Banshee for 1 Year Pandora Anniversary

Pandora – The World of Avatar continues to be an extremely popular land to visit within Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  When night begins in the land it completely transforms to a bio-luminescent land that is one of the most amazing things to see at Walt Disney World. We can’t believe that it has already been a year since the land first opened!  We are excited to learn from Disney Parks Blog that a new banshee will be at The Rookery at Windtraders starting on May 27th.  This new banshee is limited release, so only a select number of lucky guests will get one!

“The interactive banshees are wildly popular with Guests exploring Pandora,” explained Katie Thompson, Global Merchandise Strategy at Disney Parks Merchandise. “This banshee celebrates the first anniversary of this exotic land at the theme park, and offers guests a unique collectible from their visit.”

Check out this banshee that is inspired by the bio-luminescent landscape of the land.  It comes with a display perch, certificate of authenticity and will be able to do three ranges of motion (mouth, head and wings).

The merchandise store has 11 different banshee colors.  The limited limited release banshee that was created for the 20th Anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom was inspired by a moss wall that is located within Pandora – The World of Avatar.
