Junior Golf Camps are returning to Walt Disney World for the Summer of 2017. These camps are for kids ranging from ages 7 to 17. They get the opportunities to play on Disney’s championship golf courses while they learn from PGA professionals. The camps will be composted of one instructor for every 6 junior golfers with enough room for each session to allow for 20 total junior golfers in the camp. The sessions run for an entire week for a full week of golf practice and instruction. The lessons will be Disney-themed and include various fun games and prizes to make the entire experience more engaging for all of the participants. The campers will also be awarded medals at the end of the week, too.
The camp runs from 9AM to 2PM, Monday through Friday. There will be 9 different sessions with the start dates occurring on:
- June 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th
- July 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st
- August 7th
The camp costs $350 per week, per student. This cost includes lunch for campers, too. If you have more than one participant in the same family then you can receive $50 off of the tuition for each additional participant. There are also $25 discounts available for Disney Vacation Club members and military personnel. The campers will receive a boxed lunch on Monday – Thursday and then have a pizza party on Friday. They will also watch a featured Disney movie over lunch. Campers can either use their own golf clubs or they can use a loaner set at the camp.
Registration is available by calling 407-WDW-GOLF or by going online at http://golfwdw.com/junior-golf-camps/. You will need to be prepared to pay for the cost of the tuition at the time the registration is complete.
You may also be able to take care of one-day clinic options if you won’t be there for an entire week. The one-day clinics have varying availability and cost $115 for a session that runs from 9AM through 3PM.
