Walt Disney World Names Whirlpool as Official Appliance Brand

The Walt Disney Company has announced a partnership with Whirlpool to make the Whirlpool brand the official appliance brand for kitchen and laundry appliances.  This is in effect for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, as well as Disneyland Resort in California.  This partnership means that the refrigerators, dishwashers, cooking appliances, washers, dryers and more found across the resorts will utilize the Whirlpool brand for the appliances.

“As a leader in their industry, Whirlpool is a household name that has been helping consumers care for their families for over a century,” Carlos Castro, Vice President of Disney Corporate Alliances had to say. “Introducing Whirlpool’s thoughtfully designed appliances into our Disney Vacation Club properties will give Guests the perfect opportunity to experience Whirlpool products first-hand.”

The appliances will be found within the resort rooms as well as a variety of locations all around the theme parks and other areas of Walt Disney World and Disneyland.  Whirlpool will also be working Disney Digital Network to create cooking-oriented content for the various Disney networks.
