Walt Disney World Cast Members Donate 30,000 Toys to Children in Need

Walt Disney World Resort cast members have helped provide a brighter Christmas for children in the Central Florida area by collecting almost 30,000 toys during this year’s U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots toy drive.  This is a fantastic accomplishment to celebrate the 35th anniversary for the Disney VoluntEARs program, too.  The cast members were able to deliver all of these wonderful presents in style, too! 35 Disney VoluntEARs members, along with  the Walt Disney World Resort Ambassador team, helped to deliver some of the toys to the local Toys for Tots distribution warehouse.  There were delivered in the Minnie Vans that you see driving guests around property.

The Disney VoluntEARS aren’t done yet.  They will help to sort and distribute the toys to the various Central Florida kiddos in need.  This is an amazing cause to help bring joy to kiddos and their families during the holiday season.  This is very fitting since that is one of the main objectives for Walt Disney Disney World all year long.  If you are interested in participating in Toys for Tots, you should be able to find toy drop off locations in your area.   At the drop offs you can donate new, unwrapped toys and they will be delivered to children in need your area.

Great job to the Walt Disney World Disney VoluntEARS team!
