Walt Disney World Added Alcohol to the Menu For Two More Magic Kingdom Restaurants

Serving alcohol at the Magic Kingdom is a huge deal, as the park historically didn’t serve alcohol at all.  The Magic Kingdom had always stuck to the tradition of no alcohol served to mirror the wishes that Walt Disney himself had when he created Disneyland.  This all changed starting in 2012 when Be Our Guest Restaurant was allowed to serve alcohol with the dinner service.  Since then alcohol service was extended to Cinderella’s Royal Table, Liberty Tree Tavern, Skipper Canteen and Tony’s Town Square.  Now we have confirmed that alcohol service was extended to The Plaza Restaurant and The Crystal Palace.  Alcohol is still only served during table service meals at the Magic Kingdom and hasn’t ventured into quick service locations at the time of this posting.

We have a look at the menu for each of the locations, so you can get an idea of what alcoholic options will be available:

Alcohol Menu for The Crystal Palace:

Beer + Hard Cider (16 ounce can)

  • Bud Light Lager – American Light ($7.25)
  • Michelob Ultra Lager – American Light ($7.75)
  • Blue Moon Belgian White – Witbier ($7.75)
  • Angry Orchard Crisp Apple – Hard Cider ($8.50)

    • MacMurray Estate Pinot Noir ($13 Glass, $55 Bottle)
    • F. Coppola Diamond Collection Merlot ($10 Glass, $45 Bottle)

  • Mimosa ($10)

We suspect that this change may be due to the addition of alcohol beverages to Disney Dining Plans so that guests will be able to take advantage of the alcoholic beverage offering during their meal.

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips… More »
