A Holiday Tradition: The Candlelight Processional
The Candlelight Processional is one of the most anticipated events during EPCOT’s Festival of Holidays. It’s an emotional and heartwarming performance that tells the story of the first Christmas. The event features a live orchestra, a choir, and a celebrity narrator who brings the tale to life. It’s a must-see for many holiday visitors, with its festive music and touching message of peace and goodwill.
For many, the Voices of Liberty are the heart and soul of the Candlelight Processional. The 8-person choir brings the show to life with their powerful vocals, lending an air of elegance and grace to the performance. Disney has just confirmed that the Voices of Liberty will return for the 2025 holiday season, ensuring that the choir’s angelic voices will once again be part of this incredible event.

Auditions Underway for the Iconic Choir
Disney is not only bringing back the Voices of Liberty, but they are also seeking new talent to join the choir for the upcoming holiday season. If you’ve ever dreamed of singing for a live audience during one of Disney’s most iconic holiday performances, now’s your chance.
Disney is currently holding auditions for the 8-person choir, with vocalists needed in a range of parts, including Alto, Soprano, Bass, Baritone, and Tenor.
To audition, performers must submit an online application by July 14, 2025, and then prepare a song from a provided list. Call-backs will take place in New York City on August 20 and in Orlando on August 25. If you’ve got the vocal chops and the passion for Disney’s holiday magic, this is your opportunity to shine!

Don’t Miss the Candlelight Processional
The Candlelight Processional is open to all EPCOT guests, but if you want a seat, it’s best to get there early. Guests often line up outside the America Gardens Theatre hours before the event begins to secure the best possible seats. The event is free to attend, but seating is limited, and it’s incredibly popular during the holiday season.
For those who want to guarantee a seat without waiting in line, there’s the option to book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Though Disney has yet to announce full details about this year’s dining packages, these packages allow guests to enjoy a festive meal at one of the restaurants in the World Showcase and then access preferred seating for the Candlelight Processional. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a meal and ensure you don’t miss out on this magical experience.
When Will the Festival Begin?
As of now, Disney has not yet announced the official dates for the 2025 Candlelight Processional, but fans can expect the event to take place during the peak holiday season, starting in late November and running through December. Keep an eye on Disney’s official announcements for more details as we get closer to the holiday season.
