Man Hides in Theme Park, Waits Until After Closing To Jump From Top of World-Famous Roller Coaster
A jaw-dropping stunt at a popular European theme park has resurfaced online, shocking social media users. The video shows a man scaling the second-tallest roller coaster in the world before leaping from the top in a daring parachute jump.
The incident took place at Ferrari Land, part of PortAventura World in Salou, Catalonia, Spain. The attraction in question is Red Force, a 367-foot-tall roller coaster known for its incredible height and speed. According to reports, the man hid inside the park until it closed, waiting until no guests or staff were nearby before making his climb. Once he reached the top, he jumped.
Red Force held the record as the tallest roller coaster in the world after Six Flags Great Adventure shut down Kingda Ka. That changed in spring 2024 when Cedar Point debuted Top Thrill 2, which soars 420 feet with a 400-foot drop, pushing Red Force to the second spot.
This time, the video was shared by Instagram user @i_cperez along with the caption, “crazy things people do for views.” It quickly racked up over 200,000 likes and drew thousands of comments.
While many people condemned the stunt, others expressed admiration for the man’s courage.
“I’ll bet bro would do it even without the camera but like why wouldn’t you record it?” @kippers101 asked.
“Just bc it’s on social media doesn’t mean it’s for views,” @sam_harwin echoed.
According to reports, the footage actually dates back to the summer of 2022. The man in the video was later identified as 22-year-old George King. King parachuted from the top of Red Force and landed in a nearby parking lot, where he was met by local police and PortAventura World security.
King was arrested and warned that attempting a similar stunt in Spain again could result in prison time. Remarkably, he was not injured during the climb or the jump.
