Updates Coming to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at Walt Disney World and Other Disney Parks

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is one of the popular attractions within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This attraction takes guests to different planets and locations throughout the Star Wars universe. The attraction is consistently updated to include new destinations thanks to a partnership with Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic. Guests board the Starspeeder 1000 and don’t know what their destination will be for that ride until they are there. The attraction has been update with flights to Jakku, Crait and Batuu, plus encounters with many favorite characters.

On December 20th, 2019 the next movie in the Star Wars saga will debut, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Disney Parks Blog also shared that on the same date, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will add new destinations that will be inspired by the new film. These new destinations will be added at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney Resort. Per what Disney Parks Blog had to say, we can assume that one of the new destinations will be to the ocean moon Kef Bir, which was included in the new trailer for the film.
