Scooby-Doo has been a household name for generations, and now he’s stepping into the spotlight at Universal Orlando. For decades, fans have followed Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, and Daphne as they solved mysteries, unmasked villains, and made us laugh. A Mystery at Volcano Bay

The big reveal? Universal’s Volcano Bay water park will host a brand-new nighttime event featuring the Mystery Inc. crew. Starting September 5 and running through Halloween night, “Volcano Bay Nights” will transform the park after dark with Scooby-Doo–themed entertainment. Guests can meet the gang, snap photos with the Mystery Machine parked on Waturi Beach, and even run into classic villains like the Ghost Clown.

A live DJ will keep the party energy going while characters wander through the park, giving the whole evening the feel of a mystery come to life.

Snacks, Surprises, and Family Fun

The event also delivers on food. Guests can snack on churro bites with chocolate or mango dipping sauces, coconut and pineapple popcorn, and other themed treats throughout the park. Combined with access to Volcano Bay’s 30+ attractions at night, it’s the kind of family-focused offering that sets itself apart from Universal’s usual thrills.

Filling a Seasonal Gap

Universal has long leaned on Halloween Horror Nights to anchor its fall season, but that event isn’t exactly geared toward families with younger kids. Scooby-Doo changes that. Nostalgic parents and curious kids alike get an alternative that feels festive without being frightening.

With Epic Universe bringing fresh crowds and Horror Nights continuing to grow, Scooby-Doo’s arrival at Volcano Bay only adds to Universal’s momentum. This isn’t just another event—it’s a smart move to make sure everyone, from little detectives to longtime fans, has something to look forward to this fall.
