Travel Protection Plan Pricing Set to Increase for Walt Disney World and other Disney Parks Vacations

If you like to purchase travel protection when you book a Walt Disney World or other Disney Parks vacation, then you may want to check out some of the latest information around the Travel Protection Plan pricing form the Walt Disney Travel Company. The prices are set to increase a little bit. Currently the prices for adults will increase by $5 per adult and by $0.50 for each child/infant on the reservation. This pricing change will go in effect starting on August 7th, 2019.

This will not be in effect for reservations that we previously booked, but if dates are modified on an existing package that include non-refundable charges then guests will be required to purchase a new Travel Protection Plan at the new pricing plan. This will be required in order to ensure that the plan meets the coverage needs. If guests are added to an existing reservation that was booked prior to August 7th, 2019, then they will have to purchase their protection at the new price, but the existing price will remain for the guests already on the reservation.

This isn’t a huge increase, but every little bit adds up when it comes to booking and budgeting for a vacation.
