Top 10 Disney Brand Collaborations

I don’t know about you, but I love when some of my favorite brands throw a little Disney magic in the mix. Over the years, several of the top fashion brands have joined forces with Mickey and Minnie to create a truly fun and unique collaboration. Below are a few of my favorites.

10. Kate Spade

In March 2016, the ever chic Kate Spade teamed up with everyone’s favorite mouse of fashion, Minnie Mouse. The products are simple, but fabulous and feature Minnie’s signature red bow. Kate and Minnie – a match made in fashion heaven.

9. Dooney and Bourke

Dooney and Bourke has become classic Disney fare in the last few years. Their colorful and lighthearted style perfectly embodies the whimsy that Disney fans adore. This year, they have even started making magic bands! And good news, Star Wars fans! Dooney and Bourke just released a new line of handbags inspired by the newest film in the series, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”! The bags are available at The Star Trader in Disneyland and at Legends of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando!

8. Vans

When Vans and Disney get together, adorable things happen. You can check out Amazon for pieces from past Disney collaborations, but their newest collection, featuring some of your favorite characters from Pixar’s Toy Story, is still available on Vans official website. We are talking shoes, hats, backpacks and socks and underwear with Buzz, Woody, and even the claw-worshipping aliens plastered across them. They come in kids and adult sizes, including a super adorable pair of Bo Peep-inspired high-tops! But the best pair, in my opinion, is the Woody-themed pair that has “Andy” written across the bottom, just like Woody’s boot! Order them before they are gone!

7. Coach

When Coach teamed up with Disney, they pulled out all the stops. The majority of the collection is made with glovetanned leather, so you know it’s going to be fairly expensive. Their inspiration for the line came from Walt’s 1940s-era sketches of Mickey. The line simple and elegant and includes everything from wristlets, bags and backpacks to luggage tags and bookmarks. Guys, they even have a bean bag chair with Mickey Mouse ears, which is something I never even knew I needed.

6. Cath Kidston

If you are unfamiliar with Cath Kidston, you need to take a look at this sweet, London-based shop. They teamed up with Disney this year to create a line that will take you right back to the Hundred Acre Wood. The Winnie the Pooh-inspired items went pretty quickly, this line only launched back in August, but there are still a few items left on Cath Kidston’s official website. They usually have a promo code available for customers outside the UK to cut your shipping costs in half, so keep an eye out for that!

5. Marc Jacobs

Late 2015, Marc by Marc Jacobs put their own spin on Alice in Wonderland. The main stars of this line were the chatty flowers and the Cheshire Cat. This was actually the last collaboration that Marc by Marc Jacobs made before this sister line was folded back in the main brand, Marc Jacobs. You can still find some of the items from this collection on Amazon and Ebay, but a few of them are 40% off on StyleBop right now! Get shopping!

4. Sephora Disney Minnie Beauty

Sephora’s collection would make Minnie Mouse swoon. The packaging is absolutely adorable, right down to the perfect red lipstick in a chic gold tube. The products offered also include an eyeshadow palette, a set of five cream lip stains, a gold compact mirror, and a brush set. My favorite item is definitely the brush set because it actually comes with a stand for the brushes that is shaped like Minnie’s signature bow. Cute AND functional!

3. Vera Bradley

Very Bradley is known for their bold and colorful patterns, and you can expect exactly that from their Disney Parks collaboration. They have backpacks, duffels, totes, wallets, lanyards and even their traditional quilted bags that are the perfect size for a day in the parks. If you don’t typically like a very colorful bag, don’t worry. They have some that also come in a simple black or gray.

2. Alex and Ani

Alex and Ani is a popular jewelry brand that is best known for their charm bangles. Their Disney line features characters from your favorite princesses all throughout the Disney universe from Sleeping Beauty to Princess Leia. They also showcase some of your other favorite Disney characters like Olaf, Tinker Bell, Jiminy Cricket, and even Yoda! If you love it, Alex and Ani probably have a charm for it.

1. Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette

In honor of the release of Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass”, the quirky makeup company came out with an eyeshadow palette with colors inspired by Alice’s adventures. The colors are funky and bright, as is the packaging. If you want to know how it feels to take a trip through Wonderland, this eyeshadow palette might be as close as you can get. Though it is a limited edition, you can still purchase it on Urban Decay’s website, and at other makeup retailers.

Bonus: Ethan Allen

This is a bonus collaboration because it isn’t actually available yet! The furniture company has been teasing us with this new collab for months now, and they even have a countdown clock on their website! The quantity is limited so sign up online for an e-ticket! The line will be available on November 18, 2016, which just happens to be Mickey’s birthday. Well played, Ethan Allen.

About Brooke Fleming

When describing Brooke to people who haven't met her, her best friend says, "Have you ever seen Enchanted? Because that's basically Brooke." Though flattery was not the intention of this comment, Brooke maintains it was the best compliment she has ever received. Naturally, she would feel right at home in the land of The Mouse and is always down for a Disney sing along. Still hasn't tried the grey stuff, though she's heard it's delicious. Stay tuned, as that story develops. Check out her blog, Whatever is Lovely, at brookefleming.com for more stories about food, travel, and yes, a bit of Disney.
