Tomorrowland Levels Up at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom just added another spark to its futuristic lineup, and it comes in the form of a sleek new snack stop. AstroFizz has officially opened in Tomorrowland, landing right where the Cool Ship kiosk once stood and signaling another step forward in Disney’s ongoing effort to refresh this iconic land.

It has been clear for a while now that Tomorrowland is in the middle of a soft but steady transformation. Slowly, little details across the land have changed—signage, colors, lighting choices, landscaping touches. And now this brand-new kiosk joins the momentum. Instead of a simple refurbishment, Disney opted for a full rebuild. The result feels cleaner, more modern, and far more fitting for the space-age theme guests expect in this corner of the park.

Cool Ship served the parks for years, but AstroFizz brings a fresher vision. The clean metal lines, futuristic accents, and thoughtful styling feel right at home next to Space Mountain and the polished Joffrey’s stand nearby. Even though this isn’t a ride or show, its presence still matters. Tomorrowland thrives when everything around you feels unified in theme, and this is another piece that helps tie the land together.

Retro-Future Vibes and Fizzy Treats

Of course, the star of any snack kiosk is the menu, and AstroFizz launches with fun flavor choices that lean into its playful theme. The headliner treat is the Cherry Cola Churro, rolled in cherry sugar, topped with Coca-Cola Cherry icing, and finished with popping candy. It’s bold, sweet, nostalgic, and likely to grab a spot on Instagram feeds everywhere.

Alongside it are classic park staples, including popcorn, cotton candy, cinnamon-glazed nuts, and a popcorn bucket refill station. Guests who love to stretch their snack budget—especially families with kids who like to graze—will appreciate the refillable bucket option staying in the lineup.

Pay close attention and you’ll notice plant-based labels on many items, even those that seem like obvious plant-based foods. Some fans have chuckled at seeing “plant-based” listed next to popcorn or lemonade, but others have pointed out that the clarity helps those with dietary needs check ingredients confidently. Whether the labels feel funny or helpful depends on who you ask, but they fit Disney’s current approach to transparency and accessibility.

Ice-Cold Sips and Classic Park Treats

Florida heat demands cold drinks, and AstroFizz comes prepared. Guests will find fountain beverages, bottled water, and frozen slushies in Coca-Cola, blue raspberry, and orange flavors. For quick sweet snacks, Mickey bars, ice cream sandwiches, and plant-based fruit bars make a return.

AstroFizz isn’t trying to reinvent Magic Kingdom dining. It’s simply giving guests another spot to cool down, refresh, and refuel, which is always welcome in one of the busiest areas of the park.

A Small Addition With a Bigger Message

Even though this is just a snack stop, the arrival of AstroFizz says something important about where Disney is headed creatively. For years, Tomorrowland fans have hoped for a phased redesign that honors the retro-future mood the land has always aimed for. AstroFizz slots right into that vision.

The conversation around Disney’s recent projects has been passionate—especially as fans compare bolder, themed work to other choices that have felt too modern or minimalist. But the reaction to this kiosk has been overwhelmingly warm. Guests are celebrating the thought that went into the design and calling it a positive sign for future updates.

That optimism matters. Imagineering seems to be returning to a more detail-focused mentality, and even simple additions like this help restore trust that Disney is paying attention to atmosphere again.

Grab a Treat, Watch the Rockets, Enjoy the Future

AstroFizz is open from park opening to close, meaning guests can swing by any time. Need a cold drink after queueing for Space Mountain? Craving something sweet before the fireworks? Looking for a grab-and-go snack on the way to TRON LightCycle/ Run? This kiosk fits all of those moments easily.

These small conveniences make park days smoother. Walking through Tomorrowland at night, neon glowing, the PeopleMover humming above, Space Mountain lit up in the corner—now with a fresh snack stand adding energy to the scene—it just feels good.

AstroFizz doesn’t need a major announcement or a parade to matter. It’s a reminder that Magic Kingdom still evolves in thoughtful ways, even in between the huge attractions.

If your next park day includes Tomorrowland—and let’s be honest, it probably will—go ahead and stop by. Grab the Cherry Cola Churro, sip a slushy, and enjoy one more little taste of the future.
