The much-anticipated debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park has drawn thousands of guests eager to experience Disney’s latest reimagined attraction. However, a recent incident involving an alleged guest injury has sparked discussions among Disney park-goers about safety on the new ride.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which officially replaced the iconic Splash Mountain earlier this year, immerses guests in Princess Tiana’s world with vibrant music, lively animatronics, and scenic bayou landscapes. While fans have applauded the ride’s transformation, some have shared experiences of technical hiccups and occasional breakdowns, typical in a new attraction’s early days. But one guest’s recent account took a more serious turn when they described an unknown emergency that forced an evacuation of the Princess and the FrogΒ (2009) ride.

According to Redditor u/OldChris87, who shared details of their experience, they were among a small group of guests asked to leave the ride quickly due to an unexpected issue. After enjoying a late-night ride during the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks, the guest stated, “As soon as we got off, we were urged to exit the area, quickly, with all hands on deck. Workers everywhere ushering just about 10 ish of us out. Seemed very eager to have us out of the area.”

The guest also mentioned noticing additional Disney cast members assisting nearby, which added to the atmosphere of urgency. “No fewer than 10-15 workers all telling us to leave the area. We assumed someone was injured,” they wrote.

Disney has yet to release a statement regarding the incident, and it is unknown whether the reported injury was minor or required further attention. However, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure resumed regular operations shortly after, suggesting that Walt Disney World Resort‘s safety team swiftly addressed any issue.
