Annual Passholders, get ready! It’s almost preview time for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Earlier this month, Walt Disney World Resort announced exclusive Annual Passholder previews for the Splash Mountain retheme. For the first time ever, the Central Florida Disney Park isn’t requiring an advanced booking for a specific date and timeslot. During the preview period, every Annual Passholder has two chances daily to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure expands on The Princess and the Frog (2009), taking place after the film’s events. Return to New Orleans with original Disney Princess film cast members Anika Noni Rose (Princess Tiana), Bruno Campos (Prince Naveen), Jenifer Lewis (Mama Odie), and Michael Leon Wooley (Louis the Alligator). Keith David (Dr. Facilier) is not expected to appear on the attraction.
Unlike previous previews for new attractions, Walt Disney World Resort didn’t offer advanced reservations for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Passholder previews. Instead, the log flume ride will be available to all Annual Passholders at Magic Kingdom Park on June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20.
Any Annual Passholder with a Disney Park Pass reservation for Magic Kingdom Park can register for the Virtual Queue at 7:00 a.m. on the preview days. At this time, all theme park reservations for June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20 are sold out.
If you haven’t booked a Magic Kingdom Park Pass reservation, don’t worry! A second Virtual Queue reservation opportunity will open at 1:00 p.m. This window only requires a Park Pass reservation for any of the four Disney parks: Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Unlike other Virtual Queues, such as the one for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, guests do not have to have tapped into a Disney theme park to register for the 1:00 p.m. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure preview. Shoot your shot from the comfort of your Disney Resort hotel room, by the pool, or on your couch at home!
Once you obtain a Virtual Queue slot, make sure to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park early. Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t guarantee guests who arrive after their one-hour arrival window access to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Scan your MagicBand or digital ticket and head down to New Orleans!
Annual Passholder previews for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure take place on June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20. Regular Magic Kingdom Park guests are not eligible to sign up for the Virtual Queue on the My Disney Experience app. The attraction opens for all guests via Virtual Queue and Disney Genie+ (Lightning Lane) on June 28, 2024.
