EPCOT guests are facing an unfortunate setback as three beloved international flavors, including Italy’s infamous Beverly soda, have gone missing from several Club Cool tasting stations.
Originally opening in EPCOT’s Future World in 2005, Club Cool was relocated to a newly designed storefront in World Celebration near the Creations Shop and Connections Eatery in 2021. Sponsored by Coca-Cola, the store has long been a popular destination for visitors, offering a variety of fountain drinks, slushes, and floats. Guests can also enjoy sampling international beverages for free at tasting stations set up in the store.
However, in recent months, EPCOT fans noticed that multiple flavors had disappeared from Club Cool. The first to go was China’s Sour Plum Tea, followed by the Philippines’ Royal Wattamelon, and finally, the Dominican Republic’s Country Club Merengue. The vacant dispensers were marked with “Please Try Another Flavor” signs, leaving guests wondering whether these drinks would ever return. Some guests even speculated that rising international tensions or new tariffs could have contributed to the shortage, though no official statement has linked the missing flavors to political issues.
By the end of March, EPCOT had restocked the missing flavors. However, the recent shortage seems to have had a ripple effect, as three additional flavors have disappeared from several Club Cool stations.
According to a report from WDWNT, three out of the six drink stations at Club Cool are now missing popular offerings. The first station is missing Russia’s Cucumber Sprite, and the third is missing Korea’s Minute Maid Joy Apple Lychee. Italy’s Beverly is missing from the sixth tasting station.
While these three stations temporarily lack some flavors, the remaining stations continue to serve their full selection. Guests hoping to try the missing drinks can easily switch to one of the other stations. Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t given a timeline for beverage restocks at Club Cool.
