The Kingdom Hearts III Debut at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World

Kingdom Hearts III will officially be released on January 29, 2019, but a preview is now available at Disney Springs. Just head to Town Center. I was there for the ribbon cutting, and I had a chance to try the game. I don’t want to give anything away, but I will tell you that the graphics are incredible and the play is flawless.

If you’re unfamiliar with Kingdom Hearts, it brings favorite Disney characters into the quest. You’ll encounter classic Disney characters, as well as find elements from Frozen, Toy Story, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many other Disney favorites.

You won’t have to wait in another long line in order to give Kingdom Hearts III a chance. There is a virtual queue. All that you need to do is to sign up, and then you will receive a text when it is your turn. You’ll then have 15 minutes or so to give the game a try.

Gaming stations at Disney Springs set up with monitors, controllers, and headsets, each marked by a bright green number—perfect for guests eager to jump into adventures like Kingdom Hearts III before or after enjoying the sights of Disney Springs.

You can pre-order the game while you are there. There are several kiosks that are set up around the room to make it easy.

Kingdom Hearts has been around for over 12 years, and it has a loyal following. The game is great for serious gamers, as well as those who are more casual.

Star Wars and Marvel fans, along with casual Disney Springs visitors, gather for a group photo in front of the Under Armour store.

The pop-up location also includes a Keyblade exhibit. If you’re driving, park in the Lime Garage. If you want to try the latest version out, you only have until January 31. Of course, by then you’ll be able to play the game at home.
