Guests will find The Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland, next to Storybook Treats and Princess Fairytale Hall. It’s also nearby the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Magic Kingdom’s thrilling fantasy rollercoaster.

Quick Service or Table Service?

The Friar’s Nook is a Quick Service location, meaning Guests can walk up to the counter to order food without a reservation. This restaurant serves breakfast from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and lunch and dinner from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Mobile Order is also available, allowing you to skip the line. We recommend using Mobile Order whenever possible to save time and avoid crowds.

Atmosphere

This restaurant is a walk-up style Quick Service location, but there is some outdoor seating available at nearby tables. Fantasyland can be very busy midday, so if the nearby seating fills up, consider heading toward Pinocchio Village Haus or Gaston’s Tavern for additional seating options. To avoid the heavy crowds of Fantasyland, we recommend grabbing breakfast or an early lunch at this location before it gets too busy.

Menu Options

Plant-based bratwurst and tots in tray

The Friar’s Nook offers a breakfast menu and a lunch and dinner menu. The breakfast menu features breakfast sandwiches, tots with sausage gravy, and doughnuts. The lunch and dinner menu includes Creamy Bacon Macaroni and Cheese Tots, the Curry Brat Tots, bratwursts, and hotdogs. Additionally, this menu offers the Plant-Based Bratwurst for Guests seeking plant-based options.

Both menus include signature beverages like the Divinely Diabolical milkshake or the Strawberry Lemonade Slush. You can find the complete menus on the My Disney Experience app.

Dining Tips

We say it often, but we encourage you to use Mobile Order whenever available to avoid long food lines. Mobile Order is great at Quick Service locations, so you can spend more time in the Park and less time waiting for food.

Additionally, starting January 9, 2024, The Friar’s Nook will accept the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan. For Guests using the Dining Plan, this is a great location in Magic Kingdom to grab a quick breakfast or lunch during your day.

About Megan Losey

As a Disney foodie, I love writing about Disney food and snacks. Some of my favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Apple Blossom from Port Orleans Riverside. When I'm visiting the parks, you can find me on Main Street taking in the good vibe of Magic Kingdom or relaxing with a drink at the Polynesian watching the fireworks from the beach. As a previous Cast Member, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Magic Kingdom, especially Main Street U.S.A.
