The 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts Has Begun at Walt Disney World!
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts has begun, and it will continue to run daily until February 25. This is the third year for Epcot’s newest festival, and this is going to be the best one yet. The festival features the arts in three forms; visual, culinary, and performing.
The first thing that you need to do in order to get the most out of this year’s experience is to pick up a map and a passport. You can find both at the front of the park. Your park map will help you to get around, and the passport will tell you what is going on and where.
If it is the visual arts that you like, there are many different fun experiences. You can see incredible chalk art, help with a giant paint by numbers, put yourself in a famous work of art, or even buy art to take home. There are seminars and workshops that you can take part in. The half hour seminars are included in the price of admission, but there is an extra cost for the workshops.
Special food kiosks around World Showcase are an important part of any seminar at Epcot. For Festival of the Arts, they’re known as Food Studios. The extremely popular Pop’t Art is back. There are plenty of other savory and sweet treats that you can purchase, and special beverages as well. The only problem is that during the Festival of the Arts, the dishes are almost too pretty to eat.

The performing arts are celebrated in several different ways for Festival of the Arts. Stop by the Fountain Stage to see Art Defying Gravity, Visual Art in Performance, and Disney Performing Arts Showcase. The Fountain Stage is also where you will find the Epcot Living Statues. Watch them for a while because it’s a lot of fun. Take a picture as well…if you dare.
One of the highlights of the Epcot International Festival of the Performing Arts is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. This takes place three times each evening in the America Gardens Theater. A pair of Broadway stars will take the stage and sing some of the most popular Disney songs. Since you probably know most of the words you just might find yourself singing along.
The 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts is bigger and better than ever before. Most activities are included with your theme park admission.
