There is a brand new Italian restaurant coming to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. Â The new restaurant is taking over the location where Portobello Country Italian Trattoria used to be in the area. Â The restaurant closed last year so that it could be re-themed and changed over to the brand new restaurant, Terralina Crafted Italian. Â This new Italian restaurant is scheduled to open later this fall, too! Â Chef Tony Mantuano, award-winning chef originally from Portobello, is back to create the new menu and Chef Justin Plank from Portobello is returning to run the entire kitchen.
The new restaurant is expected to be themed more like an authentic Italian home. Â The atmosphere will include an open kitchen and various Italian-themed decor. Â The cuisine will be truly authentic Italian cuisine with foods and flavors directly from Italy, including olive oils imported in from Italy. Â Two of the signature dishes expected to be on the menu are mussels and a grilled pork chop. Â There will be various dishes from Portobello that will also make an appearance at the new Terralina Crafted Italian restaurant. Â Chef Mantuano said, “Focusing on the hearth of the kitchen dishes will embody the passion and flare of the flames.”
The restaurant will be owned and operated by Levy Restaurants.  “We are excited to have created Terralina Crafted Italian with a vision to deliver authentic food, hospitality and every last detail as part of a memorable guest experience,” said Andy Lansing, president and CEO of Levy Restaurants when speaking about the new location.
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner services. Â There hasn’t been an announcement with the exact opening date, but we will definitely keep you posted when we have the information.
