Disney has announced that on select dates during April, the Festival of Fantasy Parade will be performed at different times than what is usually scheduled. Disney has updated time changes in My Disney Experience to reflect the scheduled times so that guests can plan accordingly when using the app. The first of the changes is on Saturday, April 9th when the parade will be performed at 5PM EST instead of 3PM EST. This change is due to filming taking place for Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, which is a popular British show.
Other changes that are planned are related to the Easter holiday. The entire week will be one of the busiest weeks for Walt Disney World. From April 10th to April 20th there will be two showings of the parade. There will be one at 12PM EST and the second at 3:30PM EST. Starting April 21st, the show will return to the regularly daily scheduled time of 3PM EST.
The parade is an extremely popular attraction at Walt Disney World. You can see many of your favorite characters, elaborate costumes and amazing floats. You can even see Maleficent in her dragon form, breathing fire. If you will be in the area, you definitely want to catch the parade if you haven’t seen it!
