Enjoy a divine meal at Steakhouse 71, a restaurant inspired by Walt Disney himself and the beginnings of the Walt Disney World Resort.


Guests will find Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, a deluxe resort hotel set along Disney’s Monorail. The restaurant is located on the Contemporary’s first floor, just off of the resort’s main lobby. Guests can also find dining locations like Contemporary Grounds, the coffee shop on this floor.

Steakhouse 71 is a Table Service dining location. This means that Guests are required to have an advanced dining reservation to dine here. Advanced dining reservations can be made up to 60 days before your visit online or through the My Disney Experience app.

The restaurant celebrates the beginning of the Walt Disney World Resort in 1971, giving Steakhouse 71 its name. The dining rooms are decorated with photos and hidden gems, paying homage to Florida, the Park’s beginnings, and Walt Disney himself.

Walt Disney inspires not only the decor, but even the menu options at this restaurant. Try Walt’s Prime Rib Hash, the Floridian Eggs Benedict, or Steakhouse 71 Seasonal Pancakes for breakfast. Lunch features delicious dishes like French Onion Soup, Sea Salt-dusted Potato Brioche, Salisbury Steak, Gourmet Grilled Cheese, the Prime Rib Sandwich, and Fennel and Citrus-crusted Salmon. When you’re dining for dinner, enjoy steakhouse cuts like the 14-oz Dry-aged Pork Bone-In Rib Chop, 8-oz Beef Tenderloin Medallions, 6-oz Top Sirloin Steak, or 12-oz Roasted Prime Rib & Classic Yorkshire Pudding, each served with your choice of sauce and side. Dining Tips

Beginning January 9, 2024, this dining location will accept the Disney Dining Plan. This means that Guests using the Disney Dining Plan during their visit can redeem a Table Service meal credit at this restaurant. Additionally, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders receive a 10% discount at Steakhouse 71.
