Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the home to a Star Wars themed stage show, Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away. Â The show is full of Star Wars characters, music and events that keep the crowd engaged and excited for more. Â We have learned that the show will experience a closure during the second half of September that is sure to be disappointing for the guests vising during that time. Â The stage show is expected to close on September 13th and remain closed through September 26th. Â Currently the show is expected to re-open for guests starting on September 27th.
The reason for the closure is rumored to be related to a new mobile stage for the show. Â Updating the mobile stage will allow the show to be more easily moved when needed in order to accommodate other experiences at the park. Â The stage can also block views of the Chinese Theater, too, so that this allows the stage to be moved and relocated as needed. Â We have not heard of any reports of changes expected for the show and expect it to re-open with the exact same show.
We will keep you posted as we learn more and if we learn of any changes planned. Â Who is going to miss Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away while it is gone?
