Shop Disney Parks App to be Discontinued in May 2019

All of you shoppers out there will want to pay attention to one of the latest announcements from Disney.  There are big changes coming for how Walt Disney World merchandise and other Disney Parks merchandise will be available to purchase online. There will now be one location to shop online for Disney merchandise, shopDisney. It will be the one stop destination for online retail purchases, including the merchandise from Disney Parks locations.  This means that the Shop Disney Parks app will officially retire on May 31st, 2019.

Guests can download the shopDisney app (available in the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android) or visit shopDisney.com to browse and make their purchases.  There will be an even larger selections of guest favorite items including from Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line and more. The site will also offer options to personalize your merchandise with Disney Parks customizable t-shirts and gear options.

But don’t worry, while at Walt Disney World, My Disney Experience will still offer various shopping features like the product availability map and the ability to ship purchases back home when ordering through My Disney Experience.  Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will also continue to receive eligible discounts when shopping from My Disney Experience.
