Shocking Video Shows Car Sinking Near Magic Kingdom Entrance

It’s not every day that guests on their way to Walt Disney World are greeted by flashing emergency lights and the sight of a car sinking into a nearby waterway. But that’s exactly what happened recently outside the Magic Kingdom parking lot in what many are calling one of the most surreal traffic incidents ever witnessed near the park.

According to video footage making rounds online, a vehicle somehow veered off the road and ended up partially submerged in a body of water located just beyond the parking area. In the video, you can see emergency crews from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department surrounding the scene as they work to secure the area.

There’s no official explanation yet as to how or why the car ended up in the water. Officials haven’t shared any updates about the driver’s condition, and there’s been no word on injuries. The area where this occurred—just outside the park’s main parking zone—is typically well-regulated, with a posted speed limit of 15 miles per hour, just like most of Walt Disney World property. It’s unclear whether the crash was due to speeding, a medical episode, or driver misjudgment.

Eyewitnesses who were heading toward the entrance say they watched as crews attempted to pull the car from the water. The buzz surrounding the incident spread fast online, but Disney has yet to make a public statement.

This unexpected event follows another traffic scare in the area just days earlier. On I-4 near the Disney exits, a fertilizer truck collided with a Ford Focus and burst into flames, forcing officials to shut down westbound lanes. That accident caused gridlock for hours and disrupted travel plans for countless Disney-goers.

As of now, there haven’t been any operational delays or traffic rerouting at Magic Kingdom, but many are shaken. Guests expect a smooth and safe arrival when visiting Disney World, so to see such a chaotic scene just outside the entrance is unnerving.

It’s a strong reminder that even in the shadow of Cinderella Castle, the real world—with all its unpredictability—can still intrude.
