It’s an odd thing that while some of our readers see nothing but snow when they look out the window right now, we are talking about golfing for the holidays! It’s time to head to Walt Disney World where the grass is greener and any snow you may see is made by Disney magic. Check out details below from DisneyParksBlog on how the holidays is the perfect time to work on your golf game:
Disney Golf just rolled out a couple of golf instruction offerings that can help you sharpen your game in between experiencing all the holiday magic that Disney has to offer. And the best part is the whole family can hit the links together.
One cool new offer is that you can buy a package of four one-hour private golf lessons from Disney Golf’s PGA Director of Instruction, Michael Schlager, and receive a complimentary 9-hole playing lesson with him. The lessons package ($400) must be purchased before Christmas, but you can schedule the lessons anytime in the future.

The lessons can be structured to fit your needs, including chipping, putting and full swing mechanics. The complimentary on-course lesson will feature on-course game management and other playing strategies.
The kids can get in on the holiday golf fun, too. Disney Golf is offering golf clinics for juniors during the holidays. The two-hour clinics are $80 per session and cover all aspects of golf, from your short game to your full swing, plus games and prizes that will make it fun. The clinics are for kids ages 7-17 and are offered from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on various days between Dec. 21 and Jan. 4.
To schedule your private lessons or a junior clinic, contact Michael Schlager at (407) 454-5096 or by email at mschlager@palmergolf.com. To book a tee time at one of Walt Disney World Resort’s four golf courses, contact Disney Golf at (407) WDW-GOLF or go to www.golfwdw.com.
