Disney World Missing Person Search Expands as Second Guest Unaccounted For

What began as a single missing persons report near Walt Disney World Resort has grown into a cluster of law enforcement responses within a single day.

The situation first drew attention on the morning of March 17, when @WDWActiveCrime — an X (formerly known as Twitter) account dedicated to monitoring law enforcement scanner activity around the Walt Disney World area — posted an alert tied to Via Encinas, the road running through the Bonnet Creek hotel complex inside the resort’s gates:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 03/17/26 07:53 am
🚨: Missing Endangered Person at 📍: Via Encinas

Via Encinas loops around three hotels: Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Bonnet Creek Resort, and Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. All three sit within Walt Disney World Resort‘s property boundary, closest to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, though none are Disney-owned or operated.

The scanner report gave no indication of which specific property the endangered person went missing from, and neither Walt Disney World Resort nor local law enforcement offered any public clarification. As of publication, it remains unknown whether that individual has been found.

Before Tuesday had even turned to Wednesday, a second missing person call came in from the same location. At 12:22 a.m. on March 18, @WDWActiveCrime posted:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 03/18/26 12:22 am
🚨: Missing Person at 📍: Via Encinas

The second report arrived less than 17 hours after the first. No statement followed from Disney or law enforcement, leaving the outcome and any potential connection between the two cases unconfirmed.

Via Encinas hadn’t quieted down by Wednesday morning. At 8:06 a.m., @WDWActiveCrime flagged yet another response at the same address — this time a verbal altercation:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 03/18/26 08:06 am
🚨: Verbal Fight at 📍: Via Encinas

Whether the fight is tied to either the missing persons case or whether all three incidents occurred at the same hotel property has not been established. Walt Disney World Resort and local law enforcement have stayed silent across all three calls.

Theme park operations have not been disrupted. Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs were all running normally on Tuesday and Wednesday.
